Dinosaur Dioramas

Yesterday we created our own Dinosaur Diorama. We had to think about what the dinosaurs habitat looked like so we knew what materials and colours to use. 

We were very proud of them.

Busy busy.....

We have been very busy over the past few weeks researching our key question. Children have now published their information and are in the stages of putting their display boards together. They are looking amazing. We can't wait to show our parents next week.

Fossils

We have used relational thinking and sequenced what happened to a dinosaur once it died to  when the fossils were discovered and used by humans so they could find out information about dinosaurs.

What are fossils? We already knew a lot about fossils at the start of this topic. This is our class classify map which shows what we already knew about Fossils.

Time line

We have identified that Dinosaurs lived over 165 million years ago and lasted for 65 million years before becoming extinct. Wow that is a very long time. 

We have created a time line using string and displayed it on our Dinosaur Display Wall.
